The Main Functions:

• Caring about childhood and stressing its fundamental rights.
  
  
• Proposing the plans and programs which guarantee the interest of the child, caring about him and developing his abilities and talents.
  
  
• Issuing the licenses to establish nurseries and the institutions concerned with the child, with the technical and pedagogical supervision.
  
  
• Any other competences related to the work nature of the Department.
