Balance and Co-ordination: Your kids can be jumpy, easygoing or laid-back but it is important to improve their balance and coordination which can go a long way in knowing their body well. It also helps your kids to treat their body with more love and respect. Through everyday yoga, their mind is balanced and they build enough confidence and sense of achievement is felt.

My soul recognizes your soul: It is in the hands of parents to make the world for a kid a better place. Yoga teaches kids the acceptance of tolerance of others. Kids will learn right from their early years that every being on Earth has to be respected and cherished. This will help to create a peaceful and a better future for your kids.

Cultivates healthy habits: An exercise habit cultivated in the early years of childhood is definitely helps the kid stay active and healthy. However, yoga takes their lifestyle further and teaches them healthy eating habits, staying calm and focusing their mind.

Focus on Affirmation: Modern Era is the world of distractions. It is not easy for a kid to focus on something for a decent amount of time. Yoga includes breathing exercises which teach kids to focus on breathing and body-control. As a result, this helps the kid to increase the concentration capability and be present at the moment releasing other thoughts from their mind.

Self-awareness and self-acceptance: Through yoga practices, children become well aware of their body-control and what they are capable of. They learn more about their minds, and how they can affect not only their own attitudes and approaches to life, but also the attitudes of others. This helps the kid to determine to handle the situation in better possible ways. This awareness of the body, mind, and spirit, and of what can be achieved when all three work together, helps children develop into more confident, kind, responsible adults.

All of the above benefits tie together. Children are natural in yoga. When children learn to accept and love themselves for who they are, to see the good in others, to focus and calm their minds, and to be aware of their innate capabilities, they learn tools for resilience. They are more likely to be positive and optimistic about life and their abilities, and will hopefully be less likely to succumb to anxiety, depression and other mental health issues that are so prevalent today.

Adults have a lot to learn from the way children receive yoga! If we can lead them there, they will not only benefit, but they will enjoy it immensely.
