Back to School Kit for Preschoolers – Get all your bases covered
It’s time for the UAE kids to go Back to School after a long vacation. Being an organized parent, the preschool thrill starts just before a week before school starts. Preschool parent orientation process needs at least a week to be prepared with all the necessities to have a successful year ahead. Your child’s backpack or other packs they carry are an important link between home and school. But if your child has organization issues, your kid may have trouble keeping it in order. Over time, your kid’s things can become a mess of junk and crumpled papers. If your kid can’t find what he/she needs in there, the link breaks down. So, parents should jump in frequently in organizing their essentials. Preschool shopping will usually begin with turmoil. To clarify further here are some checklist parents should be aware of.
Back-Pack: Organizing your child’s backpack begins with finding one that’s right for your child. You can look for backpacks designed for preschool kids and opt for small size bags. Make sure the bag is water or spill-proof. Kids may carry their artworks, Scholastic mailers or flyers which may be difficult to carry for them and in such cases, tote bags can also be preferred. Some parents use reusable bags with the kid’s favorite character on them.
Lunch-Pack: Ensure that you look for quality boxes or stainless steel boxes. It is best when you opt for boxes that have a carry bag which can accommodate an ice pack, water bottle, and snack. And wash the boxes once your kid returns home with suitable washing liquids. Choose a quality reusable water bottle.
Nap-Pack: Almost all preschools have time for naps. Some schools provide sleep-pack for every child and some may advise bringing their own. It is better that you prefer a sleeping bag and a pillow of your own. Opt for pillows and blankets with a softer material like cotton.
Slippers and Clothes: Though your kid wears shoes to school, many preschools will recommend wearing something besides socks on their feet during class time. Kids get messy all the time, so alternate clothes should always be packed. Appropriate well-fitting clothes are essential. Consider packing them in Ziploc bag to avoid mixing them up with other things.
Hygiene-Pack: Hygiene is of utmost importance and hand sanitizer and wipes should be on the priority list. The teacher may often recommend kids on having their own sanitizer, wipes, and tissues. In no time, kids may get messy, so wet wipes are great who are toilet training or simple for anything just to clean sticky hands. It is better to put in a couple of tissue packs for easy access and individual packages of tissues are necessary for preschoolers.
