About Al Fajr Early Childhood Center

Al Fajr Early Childhood Center is a KHDA-registered nursery located in Al Barsha 2, Dubai, welcoming children from just 45 days old through Foundation Stage 2 (FS2). Rooted in generations of family commitment to education, Al Fajr was founded to give young children in Dubai a nurturing, purpose-built space where they can grow academically, socially, and emotionally from their very first years.

Our curriculum is built on the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, giving children a strong, internationally recognized academic grounding across all seven areas of learning — communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design. Alongside this, we place equal weight on dedicated Arabic language instruction and Quran memorisation, ensuring pupils build genuine bilingual fluency and a strong connection to their culture and faith from an early age.

Al Fajr’s spacious, purpose-built facility is designed specifically for young learners, with safe, bright spaces for play, discovery, and hands-on learning. A dedicated bus service supports families across Dubai, and flexible attendance is available for children under three, with a full five-day week from FS1 onward.

Our team of educators is one of our greatest strengths. Al Fajr brings together a multicultural staff of native English and Arabic speakers, many qualified in early years education with specialized training in child safety and first aid, so every child learns in an environment that is both nurturing and genuinely bilingual.

As a KHDA-registered institution, our curriculum, assessments, and internal policies are developed in direct alignment with the KHDA Quality Framework for Early Childhood Care and Education, reflecting our commitment to consistent, high-quality early years education.

مركز الفجر لتنمية الطفولة المبكرة هو حضانة مرخّصة من هيئة المعرفة والتنمية البشرية (KHDA)، ويقع في البرشاء 2، دبي، ويستقبل الأطفال من عمر 45 يومًا وحتى مرحلة التأسيس الثانية (FS2). تأسس الفجر انطلاقًا من التزام عائلي متوارث عبر أجيال بالتعليم، ليمنح أطفال دبي الصغار بيئة حاضنة ومصممة خصيصًا لهم، تتيح لهم النمو الأكاديمي والاجتماعي والعاطفي منذ سنواتهم الأولى.

يقوم منهجنا على الإطار البريطاني لمرحلة التأسيس المبكر (EYFS)، ما يمنح الأطفال أساسًا أكاديميًا قويًا ومعترفًا به عالميًا في جميع مجالات التعلّم السبعة: التواصل واللغة، النمو الجسدي، النمو الشخصي والاجتماعي والعاطفي، محو الأمية، الرياضيات، فهم العالم، والفنون التعبيرية والتصميم. وإلى جانب ذلك، نولي اهتمامًا مماثلاً لتعليم اللغة العربية وتحفيظ القرآن الكريم، بما يضمن لتلاميذنا إتقانًا حقيقيًا لثنائية اللغة وارتباطًا وثيقًا بثقافتهم ودينهم منذ الصغر.

يتميّز مبنى الفجر الواسع والمصمم خصيصًا للمتعلمين الصغار بمساحات آمنة ومشرقة للعب والاكتشاف والتعلم العملي. كما توفر الحضانة خدمة نقل مخصصة لدعم الأسر في مختلف أنحاء دبي، مع دوام مرن للأطفال دون سن الثالثة، ودوام كامل خمسة أيام في الأسبوع ابتداءً من مرحلة FS1.

يُعد فريقنا التعليمي من أبرز نقاط قوتنا؛ إذ يجمع الفجر كادرًا متعدد الثقافات من متحدثين أصليين للغتين الإنجليزية والعربية، وكثير منهم مؤهلون في مجال تعليم الطفولة المبكرة ومدربون تدريبًا متخصصًا في سلامة الأطفال والإسعافات الأولية، بما يضمن بيئة تعليمية حاضنة وثنائية اللغة بحق.

Ms. Nazia

Montessori Directress

Ms. Nazia is a dedicated Early Childhood Educator and a valued member of the Al Fajr Early Childhood Centre team, bringing over 12 years of experience in Montessori and early years education. She holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), a Master of Arts (M.A.), a Master of Education (M.Ed.), and a Montessori Diploma. A Silver Medalist and recipient of multiple Best Teacher Awards, Ms. Nazia is passionate about inspiring young learners through meaningful, child-centred education.

She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey. She believes in nurturing children's holistic development by fostering confidence, independence, creativity, strong academic foundations, positive values, and essential life skills.

Ms. Nawal

Art Teacher

Ms. Nawal is an art Teacher with a Master's degree in Fine Arts and experience teaching art in both a middle school and an early childhood nursery. Skilled in planning and delivering creative, age-appropriate art lessons that inspire creativity, imagination, self-expression, and fine motor development.

A multidisciplinary visual artist with expertise in graphite pencil drawing, acrylic painting, clay modeling, and artistic ceramics. Experienced in working with a wide range of artistic materials and techniques, creating original artworks while inspiring students to explore their creativity. Passionate about fostering artistic talent in a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

Ms. Eman

SEN Specialist & Speech Therapist

Ms. Eman holds a Bachelor's degree in Education, graduating with Very Good Honours. She went on to complete a specialized Postgraduate Diploma in the Psychology of Learning Difficulties, achieving an Excellent grade — building deep, focused expertise in how children with learning difficulties think, learn, and grow.
Certifications:

- Certificate in Speech Therapy and Speech/Language Disorders, covering stuttering, articulation disorders and lisps, Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability, and hearing impairment/cochlear implants.

- Certificate in Skills Development, covering attention and focus, cognitive and memory development, fine and gross motor skills, language and communication skills, social skills, and independence and self-care skills.

- First Aid and Emergency Medicine Certificate (Infinity Academy), ensuring she can respond calmly and confidently to any situation that arises in the classroom.

My son is currently studying at Al Fajr Early Childhood Center, and I am very pleased with the overall experience. The center provides a warm, safe, and caring environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace. From the very first day, the staff welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, which gave me confidence as a parent that my child is in good hands.

The teachers are highly attentive and dedicated. They understand each child’s needs and make sure to create an atmosphere where learning is both fun and effective. I have noticed clear improvement in my son’s communication skills, confidence, and ability to interact with others since joining the center. The balance between play-based activities and early learning makes education enjoyable while still preparing children for future schooling.

The center is also very well-organized, with clean classrooms and age-appropriate resources that encourage creativity, curiosity, and independence. They focus not only on academics but also on moral values, discipline, and social interaction, which I believe are equally important.

Honestly, I’m impressed with the changes that happened in such a short time. My son progressed massively MashaAllah both academically and on a personal level. He’s so much comfortable expressing himself and his needs.

On another note, the nursery really takes concerns raised by parents very seriously. My kid had a couple of incidents that were handled professionally once they were raised.
